new plant baby from
human roommate’s office greets
her new green neighbors

rain cools late spring day,
bird hops towards dinner, I
flush’d roach down toilet

yesterday’s twilight:
a color gradient with
low saturation

roommate: suspicious
or curious about my
technical writing?

saw white snapdragon
last night. did not see yellow
one nearby. it’s gone.

single file and
spread apart describes walking
club, road reflectors

tiger lilies bloom
into perfect arrangement

geese, having dinner
at the lake. such ambience!
hope they enjoy it

ever-vigilant
cat is ready to pop up
from nap, stare at walls

seen with moss: dead leaves,
slowly decomposing to
become new soil
