spread apart describes walking
club, road reflectors

A haiku from my brother…

plant milks from Whole Foods:
supercapitalism
at its finest. yum.

white insects crawl on
Portsmouth table. not maggot
larvae, still quite gross

hidden, uneaten
flower, not yet ready to
reveal its colors

scattered leaves, chirp-like
wail, un-bushy tail; squirrel,
young and terrified

new pompoms resist 
assimilation by Borg-
grey pom collective
