broke dad’s sander
while isolating with parents
(it’s fine, he fixed it)

finished making a
footstool last month. should have used
thinner hairpin legs.

check out this good boy;
great at cleaning (by eating),
baying at neighbors

unimpressed by snow,
tortoiseshell cat serves looks cold-
-er than winter storm

suspicious and then
disappointed by our wet
offering, Kyp left

that’s not a gargoyle
on the china cabinet:
he loves wet food; purrs

snowfall looks nice
but fails to alleviate
pandemic ennui

I made two carts to
go under my bed. alas,
the cats dislike them

my muse requests pats,
a fair price for inspiring
my insta poems

Adelaide worries
I might put her between bread,
eat the sandwich
