squirrel, distracted
by snack, captured forever
in Camera Roll

I made two carts to
go under my bed. alas,
the cats dislike them

my muse requests pats,
a fair price for inspiring
my insta poems

Adelaide worries
I might put her between bread,
eat the sandwich

before I return
home, borrowing dad’s router
for lithograph frames

is this big pretzel
energy (BPE)? help,
not a scientist

late, or quite early,
Christmas tree finished journey
from Indiana

seizing this warm day:
applying polyure-
-thane in my parents’ garage

online gathering
spread cookies, warmth (from friendship,
sweaters), not COVID

more versatile
than sleigh bells, tambourine is
all-weather nuisance
