heard sneezes under 
my bed, found adorable
nose-havers (cute cats)

spider plants, living
high life, mock cat who wishes
to destroy, eat them

cat’s flat back, high tail
and ears share his request for 
pets sans human speech

photographing cute
cat poses before they move
is like herding cats

Grey menace tries sink-
-ing his teeth into beer bot-
-tle; his prey prevails

all shall bend the knee
and swear their fealty to the
baby carrots' king

Christmas tree, covered
with baubles, looks bare without
a cat at its base

to initiate 
request, cat sits on your chest, 
looks imperious

fluffy cat rests next
to your legs, fueling your love, 
his future mischief

father-daughter quest
for groceries met success:
sweet dad found honey
